PITI

PITI is a dashboard widget that performs mortgage calculations, taking into account annual taxes and insurance.

The calculator has been released under the GPL. You can download the source tarball from the menu on the right.

  • Slider to vary the loan amount around the current value. Useful for checking the effect of a down payment, for example
  • Uses monthly compounding to compute interest
  • Displays PI/taxes/insurance rates individually, as well as their sum
